BIM
Faarup Associates Ltd utilises Autodesk Revit MEP on projects requiring 3D co-ordination modeling. Revit Software allows our designers to develop higher quality, accurate integrated Mechanical & Electrical design. The software provides full building information modeling (BIM) which allows full design team integration between architects, structural engineers and service engineers to resolve co-ordination issues prior to construction saving additional project costs.
Mechanical and electrical multi-discipline models can be built in a virtual environment allowing coordinated 3D packages to be produced incorporating Architectural, Structural and Services information. These models can then be manipulated to produce detailed construction information and stunning 3D visualisations for the client and construction team.

EPC
Faarup Associates are accredited energy assessors and our team can provide Energy Performance Certificates for both residential and commercial properties, either new build or existing. We are happy to provide our clients with pre and post design advice to achieve the highest rating possible.
Energy Performance Certificates are a mandatory requirement from October 2008 and all commercial and residential properties, whether new build or existing, shall require an Energy Performance Certificate if the premises are offered for sale, rent or lease.

Faarup Associates are accredited SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) assessors and can provide SAP calculations required by Building Regulations Part L1A and L1B for all new build premises and large extensions.

Faarup Associates offer a full BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) advisory and management service to attain the desired award for schools, commercial properties or large scale residential multi-functional developments.

CODE FOR SUSTAINABLE HOMES
Faarup Associates can provide advisory and management services to attain the desired Code for Sustainable Homes rating for residential developments.
The Code for Sustainable Homes has superseded the Eco Homes scheme as a benchmark for environmental sustainability in domestic property design and construction.
The Code for Sustainable Homes assesses each unit in a development against a number of issues centred on nine main areas which include energy, management and ecology.
